The birthplace of the famous poet Dylan Thomas is a short walk from the hotel as are three beautiful parks; Cwmdonkin, Brynmill and Singleton, which between them have tennis courts, bowling greens and children's play area.

The M4 motorway is three miles from the centre of the city and Swansea airport is approximately six miles from the Alexander.
